Shavette: PAA Shavette World
Blade: Perma-Sharp
Soap:  Zoe's Beauty Boutique Tobacco & Carmel
Brush: Vie Long horse hair
Post shave:, witch hazel, PAA alum, Aqua Velva Musk aftershave and the beard balm - Maestro's Beard Butter Spirited Blend.

Late post due to me getting caught up in a You Tube video of Kevy Shaves shave den tour, I just couldn't stop watching it. I was like a kid in a candy store looking at all of it.
I don't think that Zoe's Beauty Boutique can do much about how my face looks but her shaving soap has a great post shave feel to it. For me, the scent is rather nice as I lather it up on my face. I only have three of Jamie's soaps but I have more on my "I gotta try list".
What is the deal with that black shavette? Have you seen this shavette before? Who makes it? I want one. This shavette was produced by one of the wet shaving communities artisans, Douglas Smythe, Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements for the Facebook shaving group, Shavette World. Not only is this shavette's color scheme unique but as well as the design of the adjustable screw at the tang to adjust how tight a person may want his or her scales to be. This shavette is made of an all steel construction and has a sturdy feel to it. My first impressions of the coating of the shavette during my shave is that glided across my face as expected. Yes this may be in part of Jamie's soap but when I first looked at the coating it's not as smooth as a polished steel so at first, I wondered how this coating may affect my shave. For me, the coating worked as if it was a polished ... maybe even better. I'll be shaving with this shavette for the rest of the week and commenting on the shavette.
Many thanks goes to Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements.
