This morning's shavette shave was the fourth shave with this shavette and the first with a Derby half blade. This shave was interesting in that the shave was similar to the shaves with the Feather blade, something  wasn't expecting. I will shave with another Derby half blade tomorrow then move on to a Shark half blade. I have a number of different kinds of DE blades so I'll continue to look for the razor and blade combination that works best for me. The shave with the Focus Slim Al still seems "effortless" ... as if I had been shaving with it over an extended period of time.
Al Sapone ... here it is from the Italian Barber -  Inspired by a vaulted fragrance from my favorite fragrance house.  At one time used to scent the gloves of British royalty. Mildly scented, soft citrus notes over a distinctively leather and wood base. If you've ever worn a new pair of hand made Italian leather gloves and couldn't stop smelling them, this is the shaving soap for you.   This soap and aftershave IMO is a smooth, soft scent. That is what comes to my mind when I smell this soap and aftershave. The scent isn't so soft that you that you barely smell it but it's not in your face scent either. For me , it is an interesting scent. Time has ran out again this morning so stay save and smooth shaves to you.
