Shaver: Classic Samurai
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Cherry Blossom
Brush: Vulfix 28 boar
Post shave: witch hazel, PAA alum, Pinaud Clubman Musk aftershave and Maestro's beard butter "Spirited Blend".
Shavette morning shave with one of my very first shavettes ... the Classic Samurai. I ordered the Classic Samurai and the Parker SRB at the same time when I made my dive into shavettes. This shavette is very inexpensive and comes in multiple of colors. I find myself always wanting to go back to this shavette and I think I finally know why ... it's the value and shave. For the dollar, it can't be beat IMO. Once a person learns how to shave with it and what razor and blade works best for you ... it's a daily driver that will serve you well. Value? A person can find these shavettes near the $8.00 mark without blades. At this price point , it competes with the lowest priced DE shavers but it only uses half of the blade. It may not be a pretty as a Irving Barber, Focus Slim or a Feather but at eight dollars each ... a person could have most or the entire Classic Samurai shavette line up for the price of one of the other shavettes. In short, I love a great valve. Stay safe and smooth shaves.
