Shaver: Segal Unitary Razor
Blade: Crystal Platinum (modified)
Soap: Men's Soap Company Lavender
Brush: Brush by Maggard Razors 24mm
Post shave: witch hazel, PAA alum, PAA Alt-Eleven whipped shea butter aftershave and Clubman Pinaud beard balm..
Monday morning shave with the Segal Unitary Razor with a modified Crystal Platinum blade, The Men's Soap Company Lavender whipped up quite nicely with the brush from Maggard Razors. PAA's Alt-Eleven whipped shea butter topped off the shave. This shave went very well, I was somewhat surprised that the alum block had very little to say about the shave. Usually I have a spot here or there that stings but there wasn't any stinging. More on the razor tomorrow with a video.
This is a hard soap in which I used a baby spoon to scrape out and placed in a smooth bottom bowl that lather up nicely. Plenty of slickness and cushion that I a, sure that help get a smooth and comfortable shave.
The Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements is a nice touch for this shave. For me, the lavender scent and Alt-Eleven goes together, complementing each other. The whipped shea butter ... a little goes a long way so the 1.5 ounces will last for a while. This scent is sold out but CaD is available. Well my time is up. Stay safe and smooth shaves.
