Shaver: Shear Mattaki
Blade: Treet Falcon
Cream: Williams Ice Blue
Brush: Maggard Razors 24mm
Post shave: witch hazel, PAA alum, Lucky Tiger Aspen aftershave and Maestro's beard butter "Spirited Blend".
I'll start with the cream, the cream is a bit "loose", it is not a thick cream and easily lathered. The name Ice Blue, well I didn't find that it was cooling to the face but shaves just fine. The cream lathered up quick and had plenty of slickness for the the shave I am not sure why it would be named Ice Blue when the cream isn't blue or cooling IMO. Once again the cream worked just fine. (I am just stuck on the naming.) Now for the aftershave Lucky Tiger Aspen, yes it has alcohol in it so with this mornings shave the alum block and the aftershave lite my face up. I was trying something different (across the grain pass) and got way to close. Ended up with three very nice nicks but I did end up with a very smooth face. I need more practice on my across the pass. All in all still a good shave. In tomorrow's shave (video if every thing works out) I am going to try a Derby DE blade. I haven't used a Derby DE blade in a while and thought it is time to give it another try in a different shaver. Stay safe and smooth shaves.
